Last night, I walked down to my best friend Val's house. I realize that it could be one of the last times. She's moving away to Florida at the end of the month.

I love Valerie Marie Novak. She's the wisest person I know.
We've shared so much, and have grown up together. I'll miss walking down to her house and feeling at home. Not only that, but I'll miss her family. They've treated me like I was one of their own.
We have a lot of great memories, and I hope for only more.

Everything happens for a reason.

The friendship will definitely not die.

Oh well, onto the good parts of life:
-Soccer- Ecuador won 3-0 against Costa Rica today!
-Hockey- The Hurricanes played a much better game last night than game four. We were oh-so-close to victory.
-TKD- Tournament on Saturday! :)
-I'm going to the beach soon.

Finny leaves for Europe in July. It's going to be a weird month without him around.

It's a beautiful day, so smile and celebrate.

T-squiggle's (Tav) the only one left alive.

In T-squig's words:
"For sound check, we got to watch other people much younger than us play our music. There was a faux Mark and a faux Taylor that jammed with me a little bit on Ballangee. Pretty cool. I never expected to look over to stage right and see a female 2 feet shorter than Mark wearing a spider-man cape."

Sooo, yesterday I hung out with Mattchew. Went to the mall and he bought a bag for my dime friend to live in. [It just so happened that the plastic bag came with a hat inside! heh heh] But yeah, we made fun of a lot of things which was great.

Today was my third Halo get-together thing. Let's see, there were nine of us: Dan, Scones, Nick, Nikhil, TimTim, Andrew, Chris (just moved here from cali), Tyler, and I. [That's right, I seem to be the only girl at these things.] Eventually, Nick and I headed up to TKD school and he watched the class in the lobby. Sparring is fun.

Tomorrow I'm going disc golfing!! :)

And it's good. It definitely hits the spot.

I suppose it's because of Tae Kwon Do. There's nothing else that I can really pinpoint it to than that, but I can now control my emotions a whole lot better than ever before. It's strange, but definitely positive.

That is all. :)

EDIT:
I can explain it as this:
There has always been a hole in me and TKD has filled it. It's that missing piece of the puzzle. It is that thing that makes me feel complete.

Anyone need an update?????

Well...SOAR at UNCC was great. I made a whole lot of new friends. I'm ready to move out and start college..especially the moving out part.

I started Tae Kwon Do. I'm sore, but happy. The classes are AWESOME! They are certainly going to make my summer.

Taylor Roberts Music show was tonight. It was amazing like I expected it to be, although unexpected things happened. My really AWESOME home made TRM shirt was enhanced with the band member's signatures.
"I don't want to get too fresh with you..yet" Hahaha, fun times indeed.

I GRADUATED YESTERDAY!!! :D I am now a college freshman. I move into my dorm on 08/18/05.

This summer is going along pretty great. I ate octopus and squid for the first time last night at Best's graduation party. TEAM AMERICA is hilarious.

Next week is going to be AWESOME. SOAR (student orientation, advising and registration)at UNCC is Monday-Tuesday. I begin my trial for Tae Kwon Do on Tuesday evening. I've got no plans from Wednesday through Friday, but I'm sure I'll be busy somehow. VMPH? I sure hope so. Aaaand, the Tosco Music Party is on Saturday evening.

I'm very stoked for all of this!

I'm posting 'cause I don't want to go to bed yet.

Eeee, so today was a good start for my summer vacation.
The fun lasted from about 3-10pm. There was a cow on the side of the road and Nick took a picture.

Aaanywho, great times with Inscoe, Brian, Nick, Adam, Scott, TimTim, Nikhil, Nate, and Atul.

I'm posting this so I can remember great days like these and how wonderful life is.
First, Hannah, Nicole and I finally picked a great topic for our Psych project. Research went smoothly afterward. Then I had a pretty thought-provoking English class. Afterward, ADII. Mrs. Spitzhoff wasn't there, so we did paperwork. Finished before lunch and picked up the yearbook. Ryan and I looked through it during lunch and then I looked through it with Lauren in class. The book looks stunning!
Then came orchestra. Dr. P was at home taking care of her doggy. I hope it gets well soon. Overall, it was a productive class. At the end of the period, we were signing yearbooks and stuff. :)
Then I came home and napped for a while. I went out to eat at Ruby Tuesday with the parents and brother for my dad's birthday. Happy 43rd, daddy!! We decided to go to Concord Mills afterward since we were in the area and we haven't been there together in a long time. There's a store that has all hand-made items from Ecuador! This makes me very content.
We stopped by Hot Topic to see if they carried this weird birthday present my dad wanted. I talked to Shawn, who I haven't talked to in a long, long time. He's always a pleasure to talk to. I also officially met and talked to Brian. Both of their sincerity definitely helped with what's been going on.

Wow..the way I was feeling last night really contrasts how I feel tonight. It's a positive thing, indeed. I'm just one really lucky girl. I have a loving family and great friends.

Tristen, age 18, of Huntersville, NC died Tuesday May 10, 2005 as the result of an auto accident. He was born March 15, 1987 in Sandusky, OH, son of Lee Burlington Johnson and Tammy Ann Dugan Johnson of Huntersville. Tristen attended Hopewell High School and worked for Dominos Pizza.
Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 PM Thursday, May 12 in the Chapel of Raymer Funeral Home with Rev. S. M. Dorton officiating. The family will receive friends following the funeral service.
Survivors are his parents, Lee and Tammy Johnson; maternal grandparents, David and Marilyn Dugan; and paternal grandparents, Ornie and Arvada Johnson.
